Day of Event
- Set Up Volunteers – individuals to set up tables, signs, banners, water stations, and etc. for the day of the event (25-30)
- Clean Up Volunteers – individuals to tear down the event site and deliver items to storage (25-30)
- Route Set Up Volunteers – individuals placed in strategic locations along the Walk route to direct participants and individuals to place signs along the Walk route in designated areas (20-30)
- Safety Fair Volunteers – individuals to set up tables and materials for the Safety Fair and also to work the Safety Fair (5)
- Tribute and Victim Survivor Area Volunteers – individuals to set up tribute activity to honour victims, to collect information on victim survivors and to work at the site. (3-5)
- Greeters – individuals to answer questions, pass out route maps, safety fair area maps on the day of the event (5-10)
- Food Volunteers – individuals to place food on tables and to man these tables on the day of the event (15-20)
- Checkpoint Station Volunteers (Water Stations)– individuals to set up, man and clean up checkpoint stations along the Walk route (4-6 per checkpoint station)
- General Set-Up Volunteers – individuals to help in areas that are not specific sites (15-20)

Other Volunteer Opportunities
- Kick-off Volunteers – individual to help set up, and clean up the Strides for Change Kick-off (2-3)
- Cultivation Volunteers – individuals to make phone calls after the event to key event volunteers and Company Leaders and Team Captains (3-4)
- Delivery Volunteers – individuals to help deliver incentive prizes after the event (1-2)
- Pre-Registration Volunteers – individuals to help distribute T-shirts and supplies (2-3)
